The suspect arrested in the fatal shooting Charlie Kirk had an “obsession” with the influential conservative, based on the alleged fingerprint of the shooter, said the co-dependent director of the FBI on Monday, Dan Bongino, in Fox News.
Tyler Robinson, a 22 -year -old Utah native, is accused of fatally shooting Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University on September 10.
Bongino said the suspect seemed to have exhibited “multiple warning signals.”

“I think the coworkers declared that it had separated when the issue of politics occurred and left,” said Bongino in “America’s Newsroom” of Fox News.
Bongino said they are investigating if someone knew that the shooting could occur and not alert the authorities, referring to the online chats that Robinson supposedly had on Kirk.
“Did they hear him and thought it was a joke? That is what we are trying to discover now,” he told Fox News. “If there is a bigger network here, we will take it out to the public as soon as possible.”
The director of the FBI, Kash Patel, also announced in “Fox AND Friends “that the DNA found in the crime scene, specifically the towel wrapped around the firearm used in the shooting, and in a screwdriver, links Robinson with the murder of the conservative influential.
Robinson was arrested last week for the discharge of a firearm, aggravated murder and the obstruction of justice, according to probable cause documents, and was admitted to the Utah County prison.
The collection documents against Robison are expected to appear earlier this week, Utah governor Spencer Cox said Friday.
Robinson was arrested after his father recognized him in photographs published by the authorities, Cox said Friday. His father told Robinson to be delivered, with the 22 -year -old initially saying no, but then changing his mind, authorities said.
Then, the father called a youth shepherd, who is also an officer of the task force of the US sheriffs. The officer advised the father to make Robinson stay in his place. This information was transmitted to the FBI.
Cox thanked Robinson’s family, who “did the right thing.”
The researchers also interviewed a member of Robinson’s family who said the suspect “had become more political in recent years,” Cox said.
In a recent incident, the family member detailed to the researchers, Robinson came to dinner and in a conversation with another family member who mentioned that Kirk would come to the University of Utah Valley. They talked about why they didn’t like him and his views.

President Donald Trump, who announced Friday at “Fox AND Friends “that the alleged shooter was in custody, said Robinson should receive the death penalty.
“In Utah, you have a death penalty, and a good governor there, I have come to know him,” Trump said about Cox. “The governor intends the death penalty in this case and should be.”
Before the arrest of the alleged shooter, the authorities said they had obtained “good” video images from the individual and that they could track the movements of the suspect.
On the day of the shooting at approximately 11:52 am, the suspect arrived at the OREM campus and then proceeded to travel on the stairs to the roof of the building near where the event was held outdoors, before the suspect shot in Kirk, Utah’s public security commissioner, Beau Mason, he said last week.
Kirk was beaten by a single shot at 12:20 pm and taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead, authorities said.
After the shooting, the suspect traveled to the other side of the building, jumped and fled outside the campus to a neighborhood, Mason said.
On Friday, Erika Kirk, the wife of the conservative commentator, said: “No one will forget my husband’s name.”
“You have no idea of the fire that you have lit inside this wife, the screams of this widow will resonate throughout the world as a battle shout,” said Erika Kirk on Friday in her first public message since her husband’s death.
