Trump goes to the United Kingdom for a second state historical visit

President Donald Trump and the first lady Melania Trump go to the United Kingdom on Tuesday for a second historical state visit, where he will also meet with the senior officials of the United Kingdom to deepen ties with one of the closest allies in the United States.

The visit and invitation for the visit to the State is historical because Trump will become the first elected political leader in the modern times organized for two state visits by a British monarch.

During a substantive call on Monday with journalists, White House officials said this visit will highlight what they called the deep links between the United States and the United Kingdom.

“This second historical state visit will highlight and renew the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom. At the same time, the visit will recognize and celebrate the next 250th anniversary of the United States Foundation,” said a White House official to journalists during a previous history of background.

Pomp and circumstance in Windsor Castle

The visit will have much of the same pomp and circumstance as Trump’s first state visit to the United Kingdom, but there will be some notable differences. On the one hand, the events will take place in Windsor Castle, while Trump’s previous visit was held at Buckingham Palace.

Another notable difference: the real ones themselves. Trump’s previous visit was directed by the then monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. This time, King Carlos III will be the host of the president, supported by the prince and the princess of Wales, William and Catherine, who will play an important role as the red carpet is launched for Trump for the second time.

In February, at the Oval office, the United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer delivered an invitation from the king to Trump.

There will be weapons greetings from Windsor and London, and for the first time a president of the United States will take a carriage ride through the lands of the Windsor Castle, and enjoy a high step made by the red arrows and the US F-35 military planes of the United States.

A remarkable royal will not be present during the visit. Prince Andrew will not participate. Andrew’s ties with the deceased financial and criminal offender convicted Jeffrey Epstein were the main news of the United Kingdom.

The lack of assistance from Duke of York Duke of York occurs when Epstein’s archives and his own relationship with the deceased financial have been a political headache for Trump. And a few days before Trump’s visit, the United Kingdom dismissed its ambassador to the United States for emails that show its close relationship with Epstein.

In addition to the ceremony and the gift, Trump will take time for diplomacy. On the last day of your visit, Trump will meet with the Starmer. The leaders will hold a bilateral meeting in Checkers, the Field Farm of Prime Minister outside London.

Pressing world problems, including Russia and Ukraine, Russia’s threat to the NATO eastern flank and the war in Gaza will surely be a main theme for leaders. His visit occurs after Starmer and other European leaders traveled to the White House to meet with Trump and Zelenskyy just after Trump’s summit in Alaska with Russian President Putin. But from that meeting, during which the allies expressed optimism of a path to follow in security guarantees, no progress has been materialized.

The meeting also occurs when Russia has shown an amazing provocation in violating Polish airspace with drones. Poland then invoked article 4 of NATO and European nations are shaken by manifest action. But Trump seems to suggest that the drone incident may have been a mistake. Starmer will surely want to discuss the problem with Trump, a leader who has not always been interested in the United States defending article 5 of the NATO Treaty, asking for mutual defense when a member is attacked.

Leaders will also surely discuss their relationship, namely, announce agreements to strengthen technological associations between nations and an agreement to greatly increase the United Kingdom investment in nuclear energy with the United States.

Starmer will also probably make the case more favorable commercial terms with the United States, while the United Kingdom has solidified a tariff agreement with the United States, negotiations remain for some things, including steel and pharmaceutical products.

The White House adds that Trump will meet with American business leaders and the United Kingdom, but White House officials refused to confirm the.

When an amount in dollars was asked for how much these investments could be, a White House official in the call could not give an exact figure, but said that the White House was “looking at more than 10 million, perhaps tens of billions.”

The visit will also highlight mutual cooperation in civil nuclear energy, research, investment and development. The United States and the United Kingdom are expected to sign new agreements that improve the construction of new nuclear centrals in both countries and clarify the way for a significant expansion of new nuclear projects in the United Kingdom.

The agreement will allow companies to build new nuclear centrals more quickly in both countries by reducing bureaucratic obstacles and delays, authorities said.

Kelly also said that there will be advances in the cooperation of defense technology and an examination of how the main financial centers of the United States and the United Kingdom can be maintained in the future.

Other senior officials will travel with Trump in the United States delegation, include Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Besent, to the special envoy Steve Witkoff, Ambassador Warren Stevens and the Chief of Cabinet of the White House, Susie Wiles.
