'Here we go': Trump reacts after the Russian drones demolished over Poland

President Donald Trump offered his first reaction to the incursion of Russia drones in Poland, which the country’s military and European leaders condemned as “unprecedented.”

“What about Russia violating Poland’s airspace with drones? Here we go!” Trump wrote on his social networks on Wednesday.

Trump is expected to talk to Polish President Karol Nawrocki on Wednesday, a White House official said ABC News. The official added that Trump and the White House are “tracking Poland’s reports.”

The Polish airspace was violated by at least 19 Russian drones during the night, said the country’s prime minister. The Russian action led NATO to pull an answer, since two F-16 Poles and two Dutch F-35 were deployed to tear them down.

He marked the first time in the history of the alliance that the fighters had hired potential objectives in the ally airspace, according to Colonel Martin L. O’Donnell, spokesman for the supreme headquarters of the allied powers of the headquarters.

Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski had strong words for Trump during a press conference on Wednesday, saying that the Russian president of journalists, Vladimir Putin, “laughs” for Trump’s peace efforts.

“Putin laughs at President Trump’s peace efforts,” said Sikorski. “From Alaska, he has only intensified war. I hope [Trump] support your words with action. “

In response to the incursion overnight, the United States ambassador to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, published a brief message in X: “We are with our NATO allies in front of these airspace violations and we will defend every centimeter of NATO territory.”
