President Donald NTRUMP said he has spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin since his call with the Russian leader last Monday while receiving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders in the White House.
“Every conversation I have with him is a good conversation,” Trump said. “And then, unfortunately, a bomb is loaded in kyiv or somewhere, and then I am very angry.
“The fact that he went to Alaska, our country, I think, was a great statement that wants to do it,” Trump added.
Despite Trump’s rapid fire diplomacy in Alaska and Washington, the Kremlin only poured cold water over Trump’s impulse for a bilateral meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy. When asked why he thinks Putin is reluctant to meet Zelenskyy, Trump replied: “Because he doesn’t like it.
