Malcolm-Jamal Warner The police have released the cause of death.

The actor, better known for his role as Theo Huxtable in the successful television comedy “The Cosby Show”, died on Sunday off the coast of Costa Rica after an ABC News drowning to ABC News. He was 54 years old.

Police told ABC News on Tuesday that an autopsy has been completed in Warner. The Forensic Pathology Department said the autopsy confirmed that Warner’s death, which was described as immersion suffocation, was accidental.

Warner’s body arrived in San Joaquín de Flores on Monday at 4:30 pm local time. An autopsy was performed and completed on Tuesday.
